What is CrossFit?
CrossFit 51 is dedicated to being part of your life and taking your ordinary and making it extraordinary. We incorporate movements that strengthen your body for your daily activities no matter what they may be. We do not use treadmills, steppers, machines, or mirrors in our gym. We use loaded barbells, tires, box jumps, medicine balls, pullup bars, and many other unconventional equipment to replicate the patterns most used in everyday life.
The CrossFit methodology combines functional movements in Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, running, and rowing while constantly varying intensity and workload.
We are a community of ordinary people who come together to achieve extraordinary results.
Workouts are always intense and challenging, but well suited for your level of athleticism. No one workout is repeated in the same month allowing you to challenge your body in a variety of different ways. The results can be drastic with consistency. Workouts are scaled to one’s ability. An athlete can be working out next to a grandmother, teenager, or even mother-to-be.
